Upcell

Upcell alternatives

Upcell captures US mobile numbers from LinkedIn, quote-only, with no bulk export. People shop for alternatives when they hit one of those three walls: the price they cannot see, the coverage that stops at North America, or the list they cannot export.

Quick answer

If the wall was the quote, Lusha, Wiza, ContactOut, Surfe and Scalelist all publish their prices and start free or near it. If the wall was coverage, Cognism is the European counterweight and the only one here built for EMEA mobiles. If the wall was bulk export, almost anything else in this list does it — that is a design choice on Upcell's side, not a gap the market shares.

Lusha

Lusha

Free, then $37/mo · Enjyn Score 8.6/10

The self-serve version of the same idea: a Chrome extension over LinkedIn that returns direct dials and emails, with a free tier and published per-seat plans. It is the fastest way to find out whether the phone data is good enough for your ICP.

Watch out. Credit caps per plan, and coverage quality varies a lot by market. Test it on a list of your own accounts, not on a demo list.

ContactOut

ContactOut

Free, then $99/mo · Enjyn Score 9.0/10

Email and phone finding over LinkedIn with published tiers that separate email-only from email plus phone, so you pay for the phone data only if you actually call.

Watch out. Their pricing grid does not always render outside their app, so confirm the plan you are quoted matches what you saw.

Wiza

Wiza

Free, then $49/mo · Enjyn Score 9.0/10

Turns a Sales Navigator search into a verified email list, which is the bulk workflow Upcell deliberately does not offer. Free tier, published plans, and verification built into the export.

Watch out. Email-first. Phone coverage is not the reason to buy it, so a call-heavy motion still needs a mobile source.

Surfe

Surfe

Free, then €39/mo · Enjyn Score 9.2/10

If what you liked about Upcell was capturing a profile and having it land clean in the CRM, Surfe does that for less, with a free tier and European pricing.

Watch out. It is a capture and sync layer, not a database: you still need a source to decide who to capture.

Scalelist

Scalelist

Free, then $99/mo · Enjyn Score 10.0/10

Extraction plus email finding on one credit balance, with the price on the page: 5,000 credits for $99, one credit per lead or per email.

Watch out. A mobile costs twenty credits, so a phone-first motion burns a pack fast. And its public record is twelve reviews — young, not proven.

Cognism

Cognism

Quote only · Enjyn Score 9.0/10

The serious answer to Upcell's coverage limit: phone-verified mobiles with real EMEA depth, sold as a data service rather than a capture extension.

Watch out. Quote-only and annual, like Upcell. You are not escaping the sales cycle here, you are buying coverage with it.

Our take. The thing worth saying plainly: Upcell's public evidence is thin, and so is Scalelist's. When two vendors in a shortlist have twenty reviews between them, reputation cannot decide it and a trial has to. Run the same two hundred contacts from your own ICP through whichever two you shortlist, and count how many mobiles are right — not how many are returned. That number, on your accounts, is worth more than every rating on this page. And if your reps do not actually call, skip the mobile premium entirely: an email-first stack at a third of the price will do more for the pipeline than a phone database nobody dials.

Frequently asked questions

Why is Upcell quote-only?

That is their commercial choice, and it is the most common reason people look for an alternative: there is no published rate to compare, so every evaluation starts with a sales conversation.

Which alternative covers Europe?

Cognism, clearly: it is built on phone-verified EMEA data. Upcell's native data stops at North America, so an EU motion on Upcell means paying a second vendor anyway.

I need bulk export. What works?

Wiza and Scalelist both export lists; Upcell is per-profile capture by design. If your workflow is build-a-list-then-enrich, that design is the mismatch, not the price.

What is the cheapest way to test mobile data quality?

Lusha's free tier, or Scalelist's twenty free credits. Take twenty accounts you know well, pull the mobiles, and call them. Twenty real dials tell you more than a month of comparison pages.
