AI ArkvsLimadata

AI Ark vs Limadata

Two young vendors selling B2B records by the credit, at prices the incumbents do not publish. One gives you a screen, the other gives you endpoints.

Quick answer

AI Ark is a database with an interface: filters, lookalike and semantic search, emails verified at export, from $49 a month for 5,000 credits. Limadata has no interface at all: around 50 API endpoints and an MCP server, 1 credit per work email and 10 per mobile, from $50 a month for 2,500 credits. Pick AI Ark if a person builds the lists. Pick Limadata if an agent or a script does. Neither has an independent review base, so test before you scale either.

Pick AI Ark if

  • A person builds the lists and needs filters on a screen
  • Lookalike search from your best accounts is part of the method
  • You want more credits for the same entry price

Where it breaks. It is a newer platform, so the coverage and accuracy claims (400M+ profiles, low bounce rates) come from the vendor and have not been validated by independent third parties or a meaningful base of public reviews. Teams that need a long, proven track record or audited data quality should treat it as unverified until they run their own tests.

Pick Limadata if

  • You are wiring B2B data into an AI agent, Claude Code or Cursor
  • You want job changes and funding events pushed by webhook
  • You need people and company search by API on fine-grained attributes

Where it breaks. There is no independent validation of this vendor at all. Its G2 profile carries zero reviews and is miscategorised with an AI-written description of a different kind of product, and there is no listing whatsoever on Capterra, GetApp, TrustRadius or Product Hunt. It also publishes no database size, no per-country coverage and no match rate, which is unusual in a category where Apollo, ZoomInfo and People Data Labs all do. Add an undisclosed billing-on-miss policy, docs gated behind signup, plan credits that expire monthly, and an API-only surface with no UI, and diligence has to be done empirically rather than from published facts.

Our take. We have tested both and operate one. AI Ark sits at the end of our enrichment waterfall, where a pay-per-hit source earns its place. Limadata is the more interesting bet if your prospecting is moving into agents: an MCP server and roughly fifty endpoints are the product, and its official place in Apollo's waterfall is validation of a sort. On price they look close and are not: the same fifty dollars buys twice the credits at AI Ark, and Limadata does not say whether a miss is billed. Get that in writing before you leave the Starter tier. For both, the missing piece is the same: no meaningful public reviews, and coverage figures that are either the vendor's own or absent. Measure the match rate on your own list, on the free credits, before believing either.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper per email?

AI Ark, in our comparator, and its entry plan gives twice the credits for the same money: $49 for 5,000 against $50 for 2,500. Limadata's rate halves on the $200 plan, where 20,000 credits cost one cent each.

Does either have a free plan?

Both: 100 credits, no card. At Limadata that covers up to 100 work emails or 10 mobile numbers.

Is there independent proof of data quality?

Not really, for either. Limadata's G2 profile has no reviews and AI Ark has no meaningful review base yet. Limadata also publishes no database size and no match rate.

Can I use them together?

Yes, as two stages of a waterfall: call one first and the second only on misses. With AI Ark, check the payload rather than the status code, because a miss still answers as a success.

Still torn between the two?

We run outbound stacks for B2B teams and pick tools by what they cost per result, not by the pitch.
