NeverBounce

NeverBounce alternatives

NeverBounce validates well and belongs to ZoomInfo. People shop for alternatives on price per verification, on credit rules they find opaque, or because they want something the tool does not do — find, send, or settle a catch-all.

Quick answer

For the lowest cost per address, Reoon and Proofy publish prices most verifiers will not match. For credits that never expire and a cleaner accounting story, Clearout and Emailable. For the specific problem of catch-all domains, where every verifier returns unknown, BounceBan is built for exactly that. For verification inside a broader deliverability suite, ZeroBounce. All of them verify only: none finds addresses, none sends.

Reoon Email Verifier

Reoon Email Verifier

Free, then $9/mo · Enjyn Score 9.6/10

The cheapest credible option on this page, with pack prices published up to a million addresses and by far the largest review base of the low-cost verifiers. If cost per address is why you are leaving, this is the first test.

Watch out. Verification only, support is email and can be slow. There is no deliverability monitoring or placement testing bundled.

Clearout

Clearout

Free, then $19.5/mo · Enjyn Score 9.2/10

Published entry pricing with credits that do not evaporate at the end of the month, which suits teams verifying in bursts before campaigns rather than continuously.

Watch out. Another single-purpose validator. If you were hoping to consolidate finding and verifying, this is not the consolidation.

BounceBan

BounceBan

Free, then $34/mo · Enjyn Score 9.6/10

This is the one that solves a different problem rather than the same one cheaper. Catch-all addresses come back unknown from every standard verifier; BounceBan is built to judge them, which is where most of your unusable list sits.

Watch out. Priced per credit pack on a volume selector, so model your real monthly volume before comparing it to a flat plan.

Emailable

Emailable

Free, then credit packs · Enjyn Score 9.6/10

Fast verification with a clean API and credits that never expire, sold pay-as-you-go or monthly on the same volume selector.

Watch out. The rate depends on the volume you pick, so the headline price means little until you enter your own list size.

ZeroBounce

ZeroBounce

Free, then $99/mo · Enjyn Score 9.4/10

Verification plus deliverability tooling in one subscription, with a large public record. It is the closest in spirit to NeverBounce-under-ZoomInfo: a validator inside a bigger platform.

Watch out. You pay for the suite. If all you need is a clean list, cheaper single-purpose verifiers do that part just as well.

Proofy

Proofy

From $5/mo · Enjyn Score 9.4/10

Pay-per-check pricing with credits that do not expire and unknown results not charged, which is the fairest billing model for irregular verification.

Watch out. Their pricing was rebuilt in 2026 around a volume selector, so check the rate at your own volume rather than the headline.

Our take. Two things worth knowing before you switch. First, the verifier we run ourselves is MillionVerifier, chosen for credits that never expire and a money-back guarantee rather than for a decimal on the unit price — but its pay-as-you-go rate is not published in a form we could pin, so it is not in the table above. Second, and more important: verification only removes dead addresses. It does not fix a domain reputation, a sending setup or a copy problem, and we have watched perfectly clean lists land in spam on all three. If your bounce rate is fine and your replies are not, changing verifier is the wrong project.

Frequently asked questions

Is NeverBounce still independent?

No, it is part of ZoomInfo. That matters less for the verification quality than for the commercial direction and the way credits are packaged.

Which alternative is cheapest?

Reoon publishes the lowest pack prices of the credible options, from a free tier upward. Proofy's pay-per-check model can work out cheaper for irregular use.

What do I do about catch-all addresses?

Standard verifiers return unknown and you decide whether to risk them. BounceBan exists specifically to judge those, which usually matters more than the unit price on the addresses everyone can already verify.

Will a better verifier improve my reply rate?

No. It lowers bounces, which protects your domain reputation. Replies come from the list being right and the copy being worth answering — different problems, different fixes.

Do any of these find email addresses too?

No. All six verify a list you bring them. Finding is a separate purchase, and mixing the two is how teams end up paying twice for the same contact.
