Mailivery vs Instantly
One warms your inboxes, the other sends your campaigns and warms them along the way. Comparing them only makes sense once you know which half you are missing.

Quick answer
Mailivery is a warmup and deliverability-monitoring tool: it runs real-looking conversations through your mailboxes and reports on reputation, and it sends none of your campaigns. Instantly is the sending platform, with warmup bundled, built for many mailboxes and many domains. If you already send from somewhere that has no warmup, Mailivery fills that hole. If you are choosing the tool your outbound will run on, that is Instantly, and Mailivery becomes redundant.

Pick Mailivery if
- Your sending tool has no warmup and you are not replacing it
- You want deliverability monitoring separate from the platform that sends
- You warm a handful of mailboxes rather than a fleet
Where it breaks. The shared daily warmup pool means teams running many inboxes at once can spread the volume too thin to meaningfully warm each one, and Mailivery only warms and monitors deliverability rather than sending your campaigns.
Full Mailivery review →Pick Instantly if
- You are picking the platform your cold email will actually run on
- You send across many mailboxes and several domains
- You would rather have sending, rotation and warmup under one roof
Where it breaks. Treated as a silver bullet for deliverability: it amplifies a clean setup but won't save bad domains, spammy copy or dirty lists. It's a sender, not a data tool.
Full Instantly review →Our take. We run our own outbound on Instantly, across a fleet of mailboxes, so here is the thing neither vendor will tell you: a warmup score is not inbox placement. We have had a warmup dashboard show perfect health on every mailbox in the fleet while the same mailboxes were landing in the junk folder at Microsoft — the problem was the copy and the receiving side, and no amount of warming moved it. Buy warmup because a new domain needs history, not because you expect it to fix placement. And if you are buying a sender anyway, buying warmup twice is just a second invoice.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Mailivery if I use Instantly?
Usually not. Instantly bundles warmup with the sending, so a separate warmup subscription mostly duplicates it. The exception is wanting a monitoring view that does not come from the tool doing the sending.
Can Mailivery send my cold email campaigns?
No. It warms mailboxes and reports on deliverability. You still need a sender.
Does warming up guarantee I reach the inbox?
No, and this is the expensive misunderstanding in cold email. Warming builds sending history; placement also depends on your domain reputation, your list quality and your copy. We have measured full warmup health alongside systematic junk-foldering at one provider.
Which is cheaper?
Mailivery starts at $29/mo against $47/mo for Instantly, but they are not substitutes: one is an add-on to a stack you already have, the other is the stack. Compare Mailivery to the warmup line of your current sender, not to a sending platform.
Still torn between the two?
We run outbound stacks for B2B teams and pick tools by what they cost per result, not by the pitch.
