Clearout

Clearout alternatives

Clearout verifies email lists at a low price, with ISO and SOC 2 behind it. Teams look elsewhere when credits run short on large lists, or when they want the verifier to do more than verify.

Quick answer

For the lowest price per address, Reoon, then MillionVerifier, whose credits are bought once and never expire. For pay-as-you-go credits with deliverability monitoring as an add-on, Bouncer. For verification inside a full deliverability suite, ZeroBounce. For the compliance-grade option with EU infrastructure and refunded unknowns, Kickbox, at a higher price. All five verify a list you bring: none is a prospecting database or a sender.

Reoon Email Verifier

Reoon Email Verifier

Free, then $9/mo · Enjyn Score 9.6/10

A lifetime free tier that renews daily, 500 credits a day for $9 a month, and one-off packs from $11.90 for 10,000 that never expire. Rated 4.8 across more than a thousand G2 reviews.

Watch out. Verification only: no placement testing or monitoring, and support is by email and reported as slow.

MillionVerifier

MillionVerifier

Free, then credit packs · Enjyn Score 8.4/10

Credit packs from $89 for 50,000 that never expire, and a refund on the addresses it marks risky.

Watch out. A thin public record, 29 G2 reviews, and reviewers mention credit-system quirks and slower support.

ZeroBounce

ZeroBounce

Free, then credit packs · Enjyn Score 9.4/10

Validation with spam-trap and abuse detection, and in the ONE plan at $99 a month, warmup, inbox placement tests and blacklist and DMARC monitoring. The largest review base on this page.

Watch out. Cost and credit limits at volume are the main complaints, and the suite only pays for itself if it replaces another tool.

Bouncer

Bouncer

Free, then credit packs · Enjyn Score 9.6/10

$8 per thousand verifications, falling to $0.002 each at a million, credits that never expire, and a Deliverability Kit from $25 a month for inbox and blacklist monitoring. Rated 4.8 on G2.

Watch out. At small volumes the unit price matches Clearout's own packs, so the reason to move is the monitoring or the volume curve, not the entry rate.

Kickbox

Kickbox

Free, then credit packs · Enjyn Score 9.0/10

SOC 2 and GDPR, US and EU infrastructure, a quality score per address, and credits refunded on every unknown result.

Watch out. Priced as a premium tool: 50,000 verifications cost $275. If Clearout's certifications already satisfy your reviewer, you would be paying more for the same checkbox.

Our take. Before switching, check what the complaint really is. If credits feel tight, the fix may be a one-off pack rather than a new vendor: Reoon and MillionVerifier both sell credits that keep, at a fraction of a monthly plan. If the complaint is that verified lists still land in spam, no verifier on this page will change that, because bounces are only one input to reputation; that is a sending-setup problem. The one structural reason to leave Clearout is scope: if you want placement tests and blacklist monitoring on the same bill, ZeroBounce and Bouncer sell them and Clearout does not. And if your email finder already returns verified addresses, the honest alternative to a verifier is no verifier.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest Clearout alternative?

Reoon: 10,000 verifications for $11.90 as a one-off pack, or a free tier of about 600 a month. MillionVerifier is next, at $89 for 50,000 credits that never expire.

Which alternatives keep credits forever?

Reoon's instant packs, MillionVerifier, Bouncer and ZeroBounce's pay-as-you-go credits do not expire. Neither do Clearout's own, which is worth knowing before you leave for that reason.

Is there an alternative with the same certifications?

Kickbox states SOC 2 and GDPR compliance with EU infrastructure. Clearout states ISO, SOC 2 Type II and GDPR. For the others, ask the vendor before assuming.

Do any of these find emails too?

No. They verify a list you already have. Clearout's own light finder is the exception on this page.
